Role Description
Studio Interplay is looking for a Mid-Level Interior Designer with 3–5 years of professional experience to join our team.
This is a hybrid role, combining design development (work-from-home), site coordination, and client meetings depending on project requirements.
The role requires a designer who is comfortable working across concept development, detailed drawings, material coordination, and execution support. The candidate will work closely with the design leadership while also taking ownership of specific project responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in design development and space planning for luxury residential and premium commercial projects
- Prepare detailed working drawings and construction documentation
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and artisans
- Assist in material selection and FF&E specification
- Conduct site visits and coordinate execution to ensure design intent is maintained
- Participate in client meetings and design presentations
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional experience in interior design, preferably in luxury residential projects
- Strong understanding of space planning and design development
- Ability to produce clear and detailed working drawings
- Experience with FF&E selection and vendor coordination
- Good understanding of site execution and detailing
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant design tools
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture
