Role Description The Interior Designer will work full time, on-site at Studio Inside Out’s office in Vadodara. This role involves developing interior design concepts, preparing layout plans, and coordinating with the architectural team to ensure cohesive design solutions. Daily tasks include space planning, selecting materials and finishes, preparing mood boards, and specifying FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment). The Interior Designer will create and revise construction drawings, collaborate with contractors and vendors, and participate in site visits to monitor design implementation. The role also includes communicating with clients, presenting design ideas, and incorporating feedback to refine project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to create functional and aesthetically pleasing layouts.
- Knowledge of Architecture principles and experience coordinating interior concepts with architectural designs.
- Ability to prepare and interpret Construction Drawings, including detailed plans, elevations, and sections.
- Experience with FF&E selection, including sourcing furniture, fixtures, equipment, and finishes aligned with project budgets and design intent.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
- Excellent visual communication skills, including presentation boards, 3D visuals, and clear documentation.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Ability to collaborate in a studio environment, communicate clearly with clients and project partners, and participate in site coordination.
