Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area. The Interior Designer will plan and design residential and commercial spaces, integrating interior design principles with smart automation concepts. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design concepts, preparing layouts, coordinating space planning, creating and reviewing construction drawings, and selecting finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment. The role involves collaborating with architects, engineers, automation specialists, and contractors to ensure designs are functional, aesthetically aligned with client expectations, and feasible within project constraints. The Interior Designer will participate in client meetings, manage design documentation, and support on-site supervision to maintain design quality and consistency.
Qualifications
- Strong interior design foundation, with skills in Interior Design and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection and specification.
- Proficiency in space planning, including functional layouts and circulation for diverse residential and commercial environments.
- Understanding of architecture principles and ability to collaborate effectively with architects and automation professionals.
- Experience preparing and interpreting construction drawings and technical documentation.
- Relevant academic background in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong visual communication skills, including familiarity with CAD or design software, and attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal and client communication skills, with the ability to translate client needs into practical design solutions.
