Role Description The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing interior concepts, preparing design presentations, and translating client requirements into functional layouts and detailed drawings. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E, and working with project teams to ensure design intent is maintained during execution. The role involves collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors, conducting site visits, and supporting project management to meet quality, timeline, and budget expectations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, requiring regular interaction with clients and project stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to create functional and aesthetic layouts.
- Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings to coordinate effectively with project teams and contractors.
- Experience with FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, specification, and coordination.
- Ability to use relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
- Strong visualization, presentation, and communication skills to convey design ideas to clients and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in commercial interiors is an advantage.
