Role Description This is a full-time, remote Interior Designer role. The Interior Designer will collaborate with clients to understand their lifestyle, functional needs, and design preferences, and translate these into cohesive interior concepts for kitchens, wardrobes, living areas, bathrooms, and other home spaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design layouts, preparing mood boards and material palettes, coordinating FF&E selections, and producing detailed drawings and documentation for execution. The role involves working with internal teams and external vendors to ensure accurate installation, reviewing construction drawings, and supporting project coordination from concept through completion. The Interior Designer will also maintain design standards, adhere to timelines and budgets, and participate in virtual client presentations and design revisions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interior Design skills, including concept development, material selection, and styling.
- Candidates should possess Space Planning skills to optimize layouts, circulation, and functionality for residential interiors.
- Candidates should possess Architecture-related knowledge to understand structural elements, building codes, and design integration.
- Candidates should possess skills in producing accurate Construction Drawings and documentation for execution and installation.
- Candidates should possess FF&E skills, including selection and specification of furniture, fixtures, and equipment aligned with design intent.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and familiarity with visualization tools is beneficial.
- Strong communication, client-facing, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Relevant education in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, and prior experience in residential or modular interiors is preferred.
