Role Description The Interior Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore, working closely with architects, engineers, and project teams to deliver cohesive interior solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing interior concepts, preparing design presentations and mood boards, and translating client requirements into detailed layouts and material specifications. The role involves creating and reviewing drawings, coordinating FF&E selections, collaborating with vendors and contractors, and monitoring on-site execution to ensure design intent and quality standards are met. The Interior Designer will also participate in client meetings, support sustainable design approaches, and contribute to project documentation and timelines.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to develop functional and aesthetic layouts.
- Candidates should possess foundational understanding of Architecture and design coordination with related disciplines.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Construction Drawings, including detailed plans, sections, and elevations for execution.
- Candidates should possess experience with FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, specification, and coordination.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
- Strong visual communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and translate client needs into design solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in residential or commercial interiors is an advantage.
