Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Interior Designer based in Lucknow. The Interior Designer will be responsible for designing interior spaces, preparing construction drawings, and ensuring that designs comply with functional, aesthetic, and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, collaborating with architects and construction teams, choosing appropriate FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and coordinating with vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Space Planning and Interior Design
- Knowledge of Architecture and the ability to create detailed Construction Drawings
- Experience in selecting and coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment)
- Strong understanding of material selection and finishes
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other industry-standard tools
- Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for client and project coordination
- Professional degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Prior experience in commercial, governmental, or cultural design and construction projects is an advantage
