Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in New Delhi for an Interior Designer. The Interior Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and implementing interior spaces that meet client needs and adhere to project requirements and timelines. Tasks include space planning, preparing construction drawings, material and furniture sourcing (FF&E), and collaborating with architects and engineers. The role requires regular client interactions, project site visits, and coordination among cross-disciplinary project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications
- Experience in Interior Design and strong skills in Space Planning
- Knowledge of Architecture and proficiency in developing Construction Drawings
- Hands-on expertise in sourcing and specifying Fixtures, Furniture, and Equipment (FF&E)
- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant tools
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- A keen eye for detail, creativity, and a strong aesthetic sense
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Familiarity with sustainability practices and certifications (e.g., LEED, GRIHA) is an asset
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams
