Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Bengaluru, with a specific focus on modular interiors. The Interior Designer will design functional and aesthetically pleasing modular kitchens, wardrobes, and storage solutions aligned with client requirements and NoBroker standards. Responsibilities include conducting site visits and measurements, preparing conceptual layouts, 2D drawings, and 3D visualizations, and coordinating with sales, project management, and vendor teams for smooth execution. The role involves selecting appropriate materials, finishes, and FF&E, ensuring designs are feasible, cost-effective, and compliant with safety and quality guidelines. The designer will also review construction drawings, resolve on-site design issues, manage client expectations, and support timely project completion.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning, with strong experience in modular kitchens, wardrobes, and storage systems.
- Understanding of Architecture and construction principles to ensure designs are practical, safe, and structurally feasible.
- Ability to create and interpret detailed Construction Drawings and documentation for execution teams and vendors.
- Knowledge of FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), including materials, finishes, hardware, and ergonomics for residential interiors.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D visualization tools); familiarity with modular design tools is an advantage.
- Strong client communication, presentation, and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Prior experience in a modular interior, residential fit-out, or furniture company is required.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and openness to on-site coordination and occasional extended hours during project peaks.
