Role Description The Interior Designer will work full time on-site at the Mumbai office, collaborating closely with architects, project managers, and clients to deliver high-quality design solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing interior concepts, preparing detailed layouts, and creating mood boards and material palettes that align with project requirements. The role involves producing and reviewing drawings, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and overseeing implementation to ensure design intent and quality standards. The Interior Designer will participate in client meetings, gather requirements, present design proposals, and support project documentation throughout the design and execution phases.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to translate client needs into functional and appealing layouts.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Interiors and Construction working Drawings to coordinate effectively with project teams and site execution.
- Candidates should possess experience in FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, specification, and coordination to ensure cohesive design outcomes.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Vray, D5, or similar) and familiarity with presentation tools.
- Strong visual sense, able to sketch, can create mood boards ppt, attention to detail, and ability to understand budgets and timelines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site and coordinate with clients, vendors, and contractors.
- Prior experience in commercial and residential interior projects in India is an advantage.
