Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in New Delhi for an Interior Designer. The Interior Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing creative interior design projects. Day-to-day tasks include meeting clients to understand their requirements, conducting site evaluations, preparing layouts, creating mood boards, and developing detailed construction drawings. The role also includes curating furniture, specifying finishes, selecting FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment), and supervising project execution to ensure alignment with the design vision.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design to create functional and aesthetically pleasing layouts.
- Knowledge of Architecture and an understanding of structural and spatial concepts.
- Experience in creating precise and detailed Construction Drawings to aid project execution.
- Expertise in FF&E selection, including furniture, finishes, and decor, with an eye for modern and contemporary styles.
- Strong communication and client collaboration skills to understand and translate their vision into designs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is required.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.
- Experience in on-site project supervision and coordination with contractors is highly desirable.
