Role Description The Interior Designer will work on-site in Vadodara in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with clients to develop design concepts and layouts that align with their lifestyle, budget, and aesthetic goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, preparing mood boards and material palettes, and developing detailed drawings and presentations for residential and commercial projects. The role involves coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure accurate execution of designs, overseeing site visits, and monitoring project progress and quality. The Interior Designer will also select and specify furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), manage project documentation, and support the studio in maintaining design standards and timelines.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Interior Design and space planning, with the ability to create functional, aesthetic, and client-focused layouts.
- Knowledge of Architecture principles and construction practices to coordinate effectively with project teams and contractors.
- Proficiency in preparing detailed construction drawings and technical documentation for on-site execution.
- Experience in selecting and specifying FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) aligned with project concepts and budgets.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools) and basic MS Office skills.
- Strong visualization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a client-centric and problem-solving approach.
- Previous experience in residential or commercial interior projects in India is an advantage.
