Role Description The Interior Designer will work on-site in the Pune Division in a full-time capacity, collaborating with project teams and clients to develop interior concepts from initial briefing through to execution. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, creating mood boards and design presentations, selecting finishes and materials, and coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) specifications. The role involves preparing and reviewing drawings, supporting the development of construction documents, and coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure design integrity and timely project delivery. The Interior Designer will participate in site visits, track project progress, and help maintain alignment with client requirements, budget, and overall design standards.
Qualifications
- Strong Space Planning and Interior Design skills, with the ability to translate client needs into functional, cohesive layouts.
- Knowledge of Architecture principles and coordination with architectural teams to integrate interior design solutions.
- Ability to produce and interpret Construction Drawings, including detailed plans, sections, and elevations.
- Experience with FF&E selection and specification, including finishes, furniture, lighting, and decorative elements.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and presentation tools.
- Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and meet deadlines.
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in interior design or fit-out projects in commercial or residential settings is preferred.
