Role Description The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing layouts, and planning interior spaces for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with clients to understand requirements, translating ideas into design proposals, creating detailed drawings, and coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure accurate implementation. The role includes selecting finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment, preparing presentations and mood boards, and overseeing site visits to monitor progress and resolve design-related issues. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara, requiring close collaboration with the project team and regular interaction with clients and suppliers.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning to create functional, well-balanced layouts.
- Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings to coordinate effectively with project stakeholders.
- Experience with FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection and specification for diverse design styles.
- Relevant qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong visualization, presentation, and design software skills (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar).
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate in a team-based environment.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and familiarity with local building codes and materials.
