Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Bengaluru. The Interior Designer will meet clients to understand their needs, style preferences, and budget, and translate these into functional design concepts and layouts. Responsibilities include preparing space plans, mood boards, and detailed drawings, selecting materials, finishes, and FF&E, and coordinating with vendors, site supervisors, and contractors to ensure accurate execution. The role also involves conducting site visits, taking measurements, tracking project progress, and resolving design-related issues during installation. The Interior Designer will collaborate with the technology and operations teams to maintain standardized design quality, adhere to timelines, and deliver a consistent customer experience.
Qualifications
- Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to balance aesthetics, functionality, and budget.
- Experience with Architecture and Construction Drawings, including preparing detailed layouts and working drawings for execution.
- Knowledge of FF&E selection, including finishes, fixtures, furniture, and accessories suited to standardized, branded interiors.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic MS Office skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong client-facing, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design options clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work on-site as required, and coordinate with cross-functional teams and contractors.
- Prior experience in residential interiors or modular/semi-furnished home projects is an advantage.
