Role: Interior Designer / Space Planners (commercial)
Location: Bellandur, Bengaluru
Experience: 5 to 12 years
Responsibilities:
Maintain an active awareness and understanding of office interior market trends, innovations and design initiatives
Produce initial consistent test fits according to guidelines, and get management approvals for the layouts
Modifies and prepares production drawings during design development phase
Corrects and updates design documents
Develops solutions to technical and design problems following established standards Incorporates Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects
May mentor and direct the work of less experienced staff
Prepares 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings/ GFC drawings
Builds models for client/project team review
Should be updated with the latest technology and materials
Should be aware of the budgets/ Material costs and should be able to design the space within the given budget
Coordinate to get the detailed drawings prepared from the drafting team and ensure the drawings are prepared on time Good Commercial / Office space design experience is a must
Work together with client’s project management office throughout the project delivery process in terms of workplace design aspects, ensuring compliance to project schedules and budgets
Coordinate with BOQ team for the preparation of budgets
Frequent Site Visits and coordination with Site team throughout the project execution phase
Coordinate with Drafting team to get updated as built layouts prepared
Some travel may be required
