Office Strength
4–7 core team members (designers, project managers, and operational staff)
Job Type & Terms
Type: Full-time, in-office, on-site
Nature: Permanent role (subject to probation period)
Probation: 3 months, with performance review for confirmation
About the Job
We are looking for a versatile Interior Designer (2+ years) who can balance design creativity, technical execution, and project coordination. This is a hands-on role where you will prepare drawings and 3Ds, liaise with vendors and contractors, ensure execution aligns with design intent, and support client meetings for approvals and material selection.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of interior design experience, preferably with turnkey project exposure
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong technical knowledge in drafting, detailing, and basic MEP layouts (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
- Experience preparing BOQs, order lists, and material schedules
- Comfortable with vendor coordination, site supervision, and issue resolution
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deliverables
- Good communication skills for client interactions and approvals
- Efficient in time management.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Open to learning.
- Should have basic knowledge of material applications.
Bonus:
- Exposure to diverse project types (residential, offices, salons, restaurants, retail)
- Familiarity with project/task management tools (Trello, Asana, Notion, ClickUp)
Key Responsibilities
Design & Drawings
- Prepare space plans, working drawings, joinery details, and basic MEP layouts
- Create 2D and 3D models, renders, and visualizations using SketchUp, V-Ray, Lumion, etc.
Documentation & BOQs
- Prepare BOQs, order lists, and procurement documentation
- Maintain drawing logs and ensure timely delivery of updated drawings to site teams
Project Coordination
- Liaise with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to align execution with design intent
- Conduct regular site visits for supervision, progress updates, and issue resolution
- Track revisions and explain updates to contractors and site teams
Client Interface
- Support design presentations and client approval meetings
- Assist in material and finish selection
- Confidently communicate project updates
Team Collaboration
- Work independently on assigned tasks while coordinating with the design team
- Contribute ideas for process and execution improvements
Work Timings & Days
Days: Monday to Saturday (6-day work week)
Timings: 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM (occasional extended hours during project deadlines)
