Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Home Interior Designer based in Bengaluru. The Home Interior Designer will be responsible for designing functional and aesthetically compelling interiors by specializing in space planning, creating detailed construction drawings, and selecting appropriate furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E). The role includes collaborating with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure the seamless execution of design concepts while staying aligned with project budgets and timelines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design to create functional and visually appealing layouts
- Knowledge of Architecture and expertise in creating Construction Drawings
- Experience in selecting and specifying Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) to enhance interior spaces
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client consultations and teamwork
- Proficiency in design software such as Enscape, SketchUp, or similar tools
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- Relevant work experience in residential interior design is highly preferred
