Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Gurgaon. The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, planning layouts, and creating detailed drawings for residential and commercial projects, including modular kitchens, wardrobes, and complete interior solutions. Daily tasks include meeting clients to understand requirements, preparing mood boards and material palettes, coordinating FF&E selections, and ensuring designs align with project timelines and budgets. The role involves collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors, supervising site execution, and conducting quality checks to maintain design standards and craftsmanship. The Interior Designer will also update project documentation, support client presentations, and adapt designs based on feedback throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interior Design skills, including concept development and detailed design for residential and commercial spaces.
- Candidates should possess Space Planning skills to create functional layouts that optimize circulation, ergonomics, and storage.
- Candidates should possess Architecture-related understanding and Construction Drawings skills to prepare and interpret plans, elevations, and working drawings.
- Candidates should possess FF&E skills for selecting furniture, fixtures, finishes, and equipment consistent with the design vision and budget.
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
- Strong visualization, presentation, and communication skills, with attention to detail and aesthetics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate with site teams, and work within defined timelines and budgets.
- Prior experience in residential and commercial interiors, especially modular solutions, is an advantage.
