Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Mathura. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts, prepare mood boards, and translate client requirements into practical, visually compelling interiors. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, selecting finishes and materials, preparing and reviewing drawings, coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors, and ensuring that design intent is maintained during execution. The role involves creating and updating FF&E schedules, visiting project sites, addressing design-related issues on-site, and ensuring work is delivered within agreed timelines and quality standards. The Interior Designer will also participate in client meetings, present design proposals, and collaborate closely with the broader project team.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Architecture and the ability to work with Construction Drawings.
- Candidates should possess experience with FF&E, including selection of furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
- Candidates should possess strong visual, creative, and conceptual design abilities, with an eye for detail and quality.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with clients, contractors, and vendors.
- Candidates should possess a relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, and prior project experience in residential or commercial interiors.
