Role Description The Interior Designer at ELEV8 LIVING will work on-site in Mathura in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with clients and internal teams throughout the design process. Responsibilities include developing concepts, preparing mood boards, layouts, and 3D visualizations, and producing detailed drawings and specifications for execution. The role involves conducting site visits, taking measurements, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and overseeing implementation to ensure design intent and quality standards are met. The Interior Designer will assist with material and FF&E selection, sourcing finishes and furnishings within budget and timeline constraints. Daily tasks also include preparing client presentations, updating project documentation, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders from project initiation to completion.
Qualifications
- Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to translate client needs into functional, aesthetic layouts.
- Working knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings to coordinate effectively with contractors and project teams.
- Experience with FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, finishes, and equipment that align with design concepts and budgets.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office).
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong visual and design sense, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site with clients, vendors, and contractors.
- Knowledge of local materials, finishes, and market vendors in or around Mathura is an advantage.
