Role in One Line
Support the design delivery of Dezime projects, from requirement capture and design development to working drawings and execution checks, working closely with senior designers and the project team.
Key Responsibilities
A. Requirement & Site Study
- Join requirement discussions with customers and capture their needs, preferences and budget accurately.
- Take site measurements and document site conditions.
- Prepare clear requirement notes and hand them over to the design and project team.
B. BOQ & Costing
- Prepare and update project BOQs in Bifrost, Dezime's in-house automated CRM and costing platform.
- Select products and materials that match customer requirements and budget.
- Keep the BOQ aligned with the approved design, and flag any changes in scope or cost to your reporting manager.
C. Design Concept & Development
- Develop layouts, mood boards and material palettes, guided by senior designers.
- Prepare design options that balance aesthetics, functionality, budget and execution feasibility.
- Present design iterations to customers, with support from a senior designer where needed.
- Record customer feedback and incorporate approved changes into the design.
- Help move the project towards customer sign-off.
D. Working Drawings
- Prepare and review working drawings for execution (layouts, elevations, electrical, false ceiling, furniture details), or coordinate with the drafter.
- Check that drawings are accurate and consistent with the approved design and BOQ.
- Make revisions as the design is finalised.
E. 3D Visualisation
- Create 3D views using SketchUp, Dezime's AI visualisation tools or other relevant tools.
- Brief 3D visualisers when modelling or rendering is delegated.
- Check that final renders match the approved design, materials and finishes.
F. Material & Procurement Coordination
- Share material requirements and specifications with the SCM team.
- Check that materials ordered match the approved design and BOQ.
- Raise design-related procurement queries and substitution requests with your reporting manager.
G. Site Visits & Execution Support
- Visit sites as required (typically 2–3 visits per project) to check execution against drawings, BOQ and design intent.
- Report deviations or issues to the project team promptly, with photos and notes.
Who You Are
- 2–3 years of experience in residential interior design (design and build experience preferred).
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
- Working knowledge of SketchUp, AutoCAD and a rendering tool; comfort with AI design tools is a plus.
- Good understanding of materials, finishes, modular furniture and basic site execution.
- Clear communication, comfortable with customer interactions, and good at managing your own deadlines.
- Open to learning Dezime's tools and processes, and to taking feedback.
Remuneration
- ₹3.6 to ₹6 lakh per year (about ₹30,000 to ₹50,000 per month)
