Company Description Design Treasure Studio is an interior design and styling firm founded by Rutuja Chunekar to bring a passion for thoughtful, personalized spaces to life. The studio provides end-to-end design services and solutions for a wide range of residential and lifestyle environments. Services include end-townd interior design and styling for all types of spaces, home shopping and procurement, and full home makeovers. We have completed over 15 projects in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.
Role Description This is a full-time Interior Designer role based in Navi Mumbai, offered in a hybrid format with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, space plans, and mood boards in line with client requirements and creative Designs. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with clients, conducting site visits and measurements, coordinating with vendors and contractors, preparing construction drawings, and selecting materials, finishes, and furnishings. The role also involves overseeing project execution, ensuring quality and timelines, supporting home makeovers and styling, and contributing to events and lifestyle décor projects. The Interior Designer will collaborate closely with the studio team to deliver cohesive, functional, and aesthetically pleasing interiors from concept through completion.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning for residential and lifestyle-focused spaces.
- Knowledge of Architecture principles and the ability to understand built forms in relation to interior layouts.
- Ability to create accurate Construction Drawings and documentation for contractors and vendors.
- Experience with FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, sourcing, and procurement.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong visual and conceptual design skills, including color, materials, and styling sense.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic MS Office tools.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability and willingness to travel to sites in and around Navi Mumbai as required.
- Basic knowledge of how to use AI tools to enhance and elevate the designs.
