Role Description The Interior Designer will work full-time in a hybrid capacity, based in Ahmedabad with flexibility for some work-from-home tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing interior design concepts, preparing layouts and mood boards, and collaborating with architects, clients, and vendors to ensure cohesive design outcomes. The role involves space planning, selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and coordinating custom décor elements such as wall art, lighting, and furnishings. The Interior Designer will oversee design documentation, support construction drawing reviews, and assist in on-site supervision to ensure quality and timely project completion. This role also includes client presentations, material sourcing, and close coordination with the project team to deliver a seamless styling and design experience.
Qualifications
- Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to create functional and aesthetically aligned layouts.
- Understanding of Architecture principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with architectural teams.
- Proficiency in preparing and interpreting Construction Drawings and related design documentation.
- Experience with FF&E selection, specification, and coordination, including custom and luxury décor elements.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
- Strong communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, with a collaborative and solution-oriented approach.
- Attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
