Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Interior Designer based in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area, with flexibility for some remote work. The Interior Designer will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces. Day-to-day tasks include developing space plans, collaborating with architects and construction professionals, producing construction drawings, selecting furniture fixtures and equipment (FF&E), and ensuring designs meet client requirements while adhering to project timelines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design practices
- Understanding of Architecture concepts and experience coordinating with architectural teams
- Knowledge of Construction Drawings and the ability to interpret and create detailed plans
- Experience with Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) selection and specification
- Strong visual communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- Relevant certifications such as NCIDQ, LEED, or WELL are a plus
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment
