Role Description The Interior Designer will be responsible for end-to-end design of residential spaces, including concept development, space planning, material selection, and FF&E coordination. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with clients to understand requirements, preparing design presentations and mood boards, developing construction drawings in collaboration with architects and project managers, and supervising on-site implementation to ensure design fidelity. The role involves coordinating with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to manage timelines, quality, and budgets, while maintaining a consistent design language aligned with Bonito Designs’ standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring regular visits to project locations and close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning to create functional, aesthetically compelling residential interiors.
- Foundational understanding of Architecture and ability to collaborate effectively with architectural and project teams.
- Ability to develop clear and accurate Construction Drawings for execution and coordination with contractors.
- Experience with FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, specification, and coordination with suppliers.
- Proficiency in design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, or similar) and MS Office tools.
- Strong client communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in residential design is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple projects, and collaborate in a fast-paced, design-driven environment.
