Role Overview
In this dual-focus role, you will lead luxury residential interior projects across Delhi NCR from concept to completion, while conceptualizing and detailing the bespoke furniture pieces that define Black Oak's spaces. You will bridge the gap between spatial design and industrial furniture design, ensuring every custom sofa, lighting fixture, or millwork detail aligns perfectly with our overarching luxury narrative.
Key Responsibilities
- Concept to Reality: Develop ultra-luxury interior design concepts, mood boards, and spatial layouts tailored for high-net-worth individuals (HNIs).
- Bespoke Furniture Design: Conceptualize and design custom, high-end furniture, cabinetry, and lighting. Create detailed manufacturing drawings, material specifications, and intricate joinery details.
- Client Management: Confidently present design concepts and material palettes to elite clients, guiding them through a seamless luxury design experience.
- Material Curation: Source and select premium materials, textiles, rare stones, exotic woods, and high-end finishes available in the global luxury market.
- Artisan Collaboration: Partner closely with elite vendors, master craftsmen, and premium manufacturers to ensure flawless execution and strict quality control.
- Site Supervision: Oversee on-site installations across premium residential locations to ensure design intent and quality standards are meticulously met.
What We Are Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design (B.Des), Architecture (B.Arch), Furniture Design, or a strictly related field.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven experience in high-end luxury residential or premium hospitality design.
- Dual Portfolio: A stunning portfolio demonstrating both exceptional luxury space planning and original, detailed furniture designs (from initial sketch to finished product).
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp/3ds Max/Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and advanced rendering software. Deep knowledge of technical drafting for furniture production is a must.
- Luxury Sensibility: A profound understanding of ergonomics, high-end fabrication techniques, textiles, and global luxury design trends.
- Soft Skills: Impeccable communication skills, a polished professional presence, and the ability to articulate complex design ideas effortlessly to elite clients.
