Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Dombivli. The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing mood boards, and creating detailed layouts for residential, commercial, and highly preffered villa projects. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and preparing presentations for client reviews. The role involves producing and reviewing construction drawings, collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors, and conducting site visits to monitor design implementation and quality. The Interior Designer will also support project timelines, stay aligned with budget constraints, and ensure that all designs meet safety, regulatory, and brand standards.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate client requirements into practical and aesthetically pleasing layouts.
- Working knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings to coordinate effectively with project teams and ensure accurate execution on site.
- Experience with FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, finishes, and accessories that align with the project’s design concept and budget.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic presentation tools (PowerPoint, Adobe Suite) for drawings and concepts.
- Strong visual, conceptual, and detail-oriented design skills, with an understanding of materials, lighting, and color theory.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in Kalyan and coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in high-end residential or commercial projects is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, respect deadlines, and adapt to evolving client needs and project constraints.
