Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Bengaluru. The Interior Designer will collaborate with clients to understand their needs, develop design concepts, and translate these into detailed plans and presentations. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and preparing construction drawings in alignment with architectural requirements. The role also involves site visits, working closely with contractors and vendors, and overseeing implementation to ensure designs are executed accurately and on schedule. The Interior Designer will contribute to project budgeting, timelines, and quality assurance while maintaining Artyss Design Studio’s standards of creativity and functionality.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interior Design, Space Planning, and FF&E skills to create functional and visually cohesive residential spaces.
- Candidates should possess Architecture and Construction Drawings skills to develop accurate plans and communicate effectively with contractors and vendors.
- Proficiency in design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and familiarity with material and finish specifications.
- Excellent client communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in residential interior projects in Bengaluru or similar markets is an advantage.
