Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Bengaluru. The Interior Designer will collaborate with clients to understand their needs, develop design concepts, and create detailed space plans that balance function and aesthetics. Daily responsibilities include preparing mood boards and material palettes, producing drawings and documentation, coordinating FF&E selections, and working closely with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is maintained during execution. The role involves site visits, supervision of installation, reviewing construction progress, and resolving design-related issues as they arise. The Interior Designer will also contribute to presentations, maintain project timelines, and support the firm’s overall design standards and processes.
Qualifications
- Strong Interior Design skills, including concept development, material selection, and detailing.
- Proficiency in Space Planning to create functional and efficient layouts for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
- Understanding of Architecture principles to collaborate effectively with architects and structural consultants.
- Ability to produce accurate Construction Drawings and documentation for on-site execution.
- Experience with FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, specification, and coordination.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic MS Office tools.
- Strong visual communication, presentation, and client interaction skills.
- Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and willingness to participate in site visits and on-site coordination.
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; relevant studio or industry experience is preferred.
