Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer and Sales Consultant role based in Jaipur. The role involves developing interior design concepts and layouts for residential, hospitality, and commercial projects, aligning design solutions with client needs and WOOD DEKOR’s product offerings. The Interior Designer and Sales Consultant will meet with clients, understand their requirements, prepare mood boards and presentations, and recommend suitable furniture, finishes, and décor. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating space planning, preparing or reviewing drawings, collaborating with the production team, and ensuring design feasibility and quality. The role also includes managing the sales cycle—from lead follow-up and showroom consultations to quotations, negotiations, and closure—while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring timely project delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong Interior Design skills, with experience in developing cohesive concepts, material palettes, and detailed design proposals.
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Architecture-related coordination to ensure functional, code-compliant, and aesthetically balanced layouts.
- Ability to interpret and/or prepare Construction Drawings and technical details for execution and manufacturing teams.
- Experience with FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, customization, and specification aligned with project budgets and timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Working knowledge of design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, InDesign, or similar).
- Proven sales aptitude, including client engagement, lead management, negotiation, and closing, preferably in furniture or interiors.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
