Role Description The Interior Design Sales professional will work full time on-site at the RRAG Interiors location in Bengaluru. In this role, you will engage with walk-in and referred clients, understand their requirements, present design concepts, and propose tailored interior solutions that align with their budget and lifestyle. You will collaborate with interior designers on space planning, furniture selection, and lighting concepts, helping to translate design ideas into clear presentations and quotations. Daily tasks include conducting site visits, preparing basic layout suggestions, following up on leads, negotiating and closing sales, and coordinating with project and execution teams to ensure a smooth client experience. You will also maintain product knowledge, keep up with design trends, and contribute to showroom or studio displays to support sales and brand visibility.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales skills with experience in consultative selling, lead follow-up, and closing deals in interiors, real estate, or related fields.
- Applied Interior Design and Space Planning skills to discuss layouts, finishes, colors, and lighting concepts confidently with clients.
- Customer Service abilities, including active listening, clear communication, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Knowledge of Furniture selection, materials, and finishes, with an eye for aesthetics, ergonomics, and durability.
- Ability to conduct site visits, take basic measurements, and coordinate with designers, vendors, and project teams.
- Comfort using basic digital tools (email, MS Office or Google Workspace; design or CAD exposure is an advantage).
- Prior experience in interior design firms, furniture showrooms, or home improvement sales is preferred.
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Business, or a related field is beneficial, or equivalent relevant experience.
