Role Description The Interior Design Project Manager will oversee end-to-end interior design projects, from initial client brief to final handover, ensuring timely and quality delivery within budget. This full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram involves coordinating with clients, designers, vendors, and contractors to translate design concepts into executable plans. Daily responsibilities include managing project schedules, reviewing construction drawings, monitoring site progress, and resolving on-ground issues. The role also includes leading space planning and furniture layout discussions, ensuring designs meet functional, aesthetic, and safety requirements. The Project Manager will prepare status reports, manage project documentation, and drive adherence to design standards and company processes throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Strong interior design foundation with proven skills in Interior Design and Space Planning to create functional, aesthetic, and client-centric layouts.
- Demonstrated Project Management capabilities, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, stakeholder coordination, and risk management.
- Proficiency in Construction Drawings, with the ability to review, interpret, and coordinate technical drawings with contractors and vendors.
- Experience in Furniture selection, layout planning, and coordination with suppliers to align with project design intent and timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience managing residential or commercial interior projects, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and client management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in relevant design and project management tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Office or similar) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and handle field visits and site supervision as needed.
