Role Description The Interior Design Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role involves leading interior design projects from concept to completion, coordinating with clients, internal teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure designs are executed accurately, on time, and within budget. Responsibilities include developing and reviewing space plans, interior layouts, and construction drawings; selecting furniture, finishes, and materials; and preparing detailed project schedules and documentation. The Interior Design Project Manager will conduct site visits, monitor installation progress, resolve design and execution issues, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders. The role also includes supporting sourcing decisions through Arcedior’s platform, ensuring that products align with design intent, quality standards, and project timelines.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design, with the ability to translate client requirements into functional, aesthetically compelling solutions.
- Proficiency in Project Management, including scheduling, budgeting, stakeholder coordination, and tracking project progress.
- Knowledge of Furniture selection, specification, and coordination with vendors and suppliers.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in relevant design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
- Strong communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience with hospitality, commercial, or high-end residential projects is an advantage.
- Familiarity with sourcing, materials, and interior fit-out processes in the Indian market is beneficial.
