Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Interior Design Intern at our studio in Kurla. The role involves assisting design teams with space planning, creating mood boards, sourcing furniture and FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and contributing to project presentations. The intern will support designers in translating client needs into functional and aesthetic solutions, coordinate design elements, and ensure quality standards are met. Administrative and organizational tasks related to project execution may also be part of the responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Space Planning and knowledge of Interior Design principles
- Proficiency in working with Furniture and FF&E selection
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with the team and clients
- Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for design innovation
- Proficiency in design-related software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools is a plus
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Interior Design or a related field
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
