Role Description The Interior Design Intern role at DISHA INFRA is a full-time, on-site position based in Shikrapur. The intern will assist in developing interior design concepts, preparing drawings and layouts, and supporting space planning activities under the guidance of senior designers. Day-to-day tasks include helping select furniture and FF&E (fixtures, furnishings, and equipment), preparing mood boards and material palettes, and contributing to project documentation. The intern will coordinate with team members, attend site visits as needed, and support client presentations by organizing design files and visual materials. This role offers hands-on experience in translating design ideas into practical solutions for active projects.
Qualifications
- Ability to contribute to interior design concepts, including Interior Design and Space Planning skills.
- Knowledge of Furniture selection and layout for residential or commercial spaces.
- Understanding of FF&E (fixtures, furnishings, and equipment) coordination and basic material selection.
- Strong Communication skills for collaborating with project teams and interacting with clients.
- Enrollment in or completion of a diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Basic proficiency in design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar software) is preferred.
- Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to follow project guidelines and timelines.
- Capability to work on-site in Shikrapur and support multiple tasks in a dynamic project environment.
