Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Design Consultant role based in Bengaluru, with compensation up to 5.5 LPA. The Interior Design Consultant will meet and engage with clients to understand their lifestyle, design preferences, and functional requirements for residential spaces. The role involves creating design concepts, space plans, and mood boards, selecting finishes, furnishings, and furniture, and coordinating with suppliers and the execution team to ensure timely project delivery. The consultant will present proposals, manage client expectations, and provide regular updates throughout the design and implementation process. Day-to-day responsibilities also include supporting sales conversations, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth, high-quality client experience.
Qualifications
- Strong client-facing skills, including effective Communication and Customer Service abilities.
- Proficiency in Interior Design principles, space planning, and selection of materials and finishes.
- Sales acumen with the ability to guide clients through design proposals and close deals.
- Knowledge of Furniture styles, layouts, and functional planning for residential interiors.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience using design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Prior experience in residential interior projects or home décor consulting is an advantage.
