Role Description
The Interior Design Consultant will work full-time on-site at Plypicker’s Experience Centre in Baner, Pune. The role involves understanding clients’ requirements, creating design concepts, space plans, mood boards, and recommending materials, finishes, furniture, and décor solutions. The consultant will conduct site visits, take measurements, prepare presentations, coordinate with the in-house manufacturing and execution teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time and as per Plypicker’s quality standards.
In addition to interior design, the consultant will manage showroom sales by assisting walk-in customers, demonstrating products, preparing quotations, and converting inquiries into sales. The role also includes calling prospective and existing customers, following up on leads from the website, social media, WhatsApp, and referrals, generating new business, maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets while ensuring an excellent customer experience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interior Design skills, including space planning, material selection, and furniture layout.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to present concepts, explain design decisions, and collaborate with clients and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to build trust, manage expectations, and ensure a positive client experience throughout the project.
- Candidates should possess Sales and consultative selling skills to translate design solutions into successful proposals and conversions.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Furniture, including custom and modular solutions, and an understanding of quality materials and finishes.
- Proficiency with design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) and basic project coordination skills is beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, and prior experience in residential or commercial interiors are preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Pune District, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment is required.
