Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune Division for an Interim Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The Interim CTO will oversee the organization's technological needs, lead software development and product innovation, and define and execute the company's IT and technology strategies. Responsibilities include directing project management efforts, designing system architecture, and ensuring the seamless execution of technical initiatives aligned with business goals. Collaborative leadership, strategic planning, and driving innovation are core aspects of the role.
Like Sam Altman said, in the world of AI companies will not require army of programmers/developers/coders. Smart companies will use all the tech that is available to them and quickly churn apps.
Based on my experience of having been part of $5 million funded startup, I am now embarking on a journey of launching 3-4 apps using latest tech like Claude, Codex, Kimi etc. The key factor is going to be speed of launch, adoption/iteration and revenue generation. We will not get involved in the game of fundraising. Since tech is cheap, GTM is relatively easy, we frankly don't require funding and can operate at break-even. Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Software Development and Product Development
- Experience in IT Strategy, Architecture, and establishing robust technology frameworks
- Strong Project Management skills with the ability to organize, execute, and deliver on multiple priorities
- Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical priorities to stakeholders
- Experience in the fintech or digital payments industry is an advantage
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
None of the above qualifications are required. What is required is ability to take ownership of projects, respect timelines, be a team player and most importantly have thorough understanding of the latest tech.
Engagement model will revenue sharing + small cash compensation. We start immediately if wave length matches.
