MergerWare is looking for a passionate QA (Automation- Selenium) engineer who will be completely responsible for "quality" of our platform that is being used by customers all over the world. You will be our product specialist and the go- to person for any product learning.

Role And Responsibilities

• Develop detailed test strategy and test plans for various features at the functional and system level.
• Be a gatekeeper for the quality of any product going out in the market from Mergerware including customer experiences.
• Integral members of Product team right from product requirements gathering phase to design reviews till the delivery of the product.
• Maintain a staging environment to effectively verify and validate the products.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage by preparing a detailed capability matrix to map features to the functional requirements of the test plan and for defining the acceptance criteria.
• Work with software developers to tune code and track all problem reports to closure. Analyze test results to ensure functionality and recommend appropriate action.
• Assemble and understand QA metric; Identify problem areas in the product requiring developer attention.
• Participate in system requirements and design reviews, and collaborate with end users and translate their input into testable business rules equirements.
• Ability to test, develop, iterate on a rapid basis.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  
  

Understanding of latest innovations, trends and emerging technologies in QA testing and test methodology.

Key Mandatory Skills

• Should have 2- 5 yrs experience in Selenium
• Hands- on experience in designing and updating Selenium Test Automation Frameworks
• Experience in TDD/BDD frameworks
• Designing and documenting detailed test cases to cover all levels of tests
• Understanding of overall Testing process and experience in Agile Methodology
• Execute and stabilize scripts across browsers, fix failed test cases
• Build and institutionalize robust reusable frameworks for multiple testing types.
• Proactively identify automation needs and deliver frameworks for those with successful pilots.
