Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Description

• In your new role as DevOps Engineer, you will ensure global end-to-end application management.
• You will design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable DevOps solutions, utilizing your strong developer mindset to optimize and automate processes.
• You will be involved in development activities focusing on Typescript, Node.js etc.
• You will develop infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and Bicep to enable efficient and repeatable provisioning and management of cloud resources.
• You will ensure security best practices are implemented and provide recommendations for improvements.
• You will stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in Frontend development, DevOps and Cloud Computing, identifying opportunities to enhance our infrastructure and processes.

Desired Skills

• The cornerstone of your professional success is a degree in IT, informatics, or business informatics. Alternatively, you can show a comparable training in conjunction with corresponding additional qualifications.
• You should have minimum 5+ years of overall working experience with minimum 3 years of development experience using frontend technologies such as Typescript, Node.js, HTML, CSS etc. with a track record of building scalable and maintainable applications minimum 2 years of experience managing Azure DevOps organizations.
• Deep understanding of methods and tools used to customize and extend Azure solution, like Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, Azure CLI, PowerShell etc.
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, and familiarity with cloud services and resource management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a distributed system environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Good to have exposure in IT Service Management framework, ideally ITIL V4
• Relevant certifications in one or multiple of the mentioned technologies.
