Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Intensivist at Medway Hospitals, located in Tamil Nadu, India. The Intensivist will be responsible for the comprehensive management of critically ill patients, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and monitoring. Daily tasks include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, providing advanced life support interventions, and ensuring timely critical care decisions. The role also involves close interaction with patients' families to explain treatment protocols and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Critical Care Medicine and Critical Care Nursing
- Strong knowledge of Medicine and its application in critical scenarios
- Experience in Anesthesiology with a focus on sedation and pain management in critical care
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in high-stress situations
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Medical degree with specialization in Critical Care or related field (e.g., DM or DNB in Critical Care Medicine, Pulmonology, or Anesthesiology)
- Relevant certifications in Advanced Life Support (e.g., ACLS, FCCS, or similar) are an advantage
