Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role for an Intensivist specializing in Anesthesia at Sushruta Hospital, located in Bhubaneswar. The Intensivist will oversee the management of patients in critical care units, provide advanced anesthesia care, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Daily tasks include evaluating critical patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, supervising procedures, and contributing to the hospital’s high standards of clinical excellence.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Anesthesiology and experience in administering anesthesia safely and effectively.
- Proficiency in Critical Care Medicine and Critical Care Nursing for evaluating, monitoring, and managing critically ill patients.
- Knowledge of Pulmonology and Medicine to provide comprehensive care in the intensive care unit.
- Strong diagnostic, decision-making, and problem-solving skills in high-pressure clinical environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Completion of relevant qualifications in Anesthesiology or Critical Care Medicine with proper medical certifications and licensure.
- Prior experience in intensive care or hospital-based settings will be an advantage.
