About the role
Key responsibilities:
1. Review and process mortgage loan applications for completeness and accuracy
2. Ensure all required documents are collected and meet lender requirements
3. Submit applications to lenders and follow up on approvals
4. Liaise with lenders, brokers, and clients to gather and verify necessary documents
5. Track loan conditions, valuations, and settlements to ensure timely approvals
6. Keep clients and brokers updated on the loan progress
7. Ensure all loan applications comply with lender policies and industry regulations
8. Maintain accurate records of all applications and communications
9. Assist in resolving any discrepancies or additional requirements from lenders
10. Coordinate loan settlement and liaise with solicitors, banks, and clients
11. Assist in handling loan variations, discharges, and refinances
12. Provide after-settlement support for clients as needed
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, commerce, or a related field
2. Experience in loan processing, mortgage broking, or financial services (preferred)
3. Fluent in English, both written and verbal
4. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple applications at once
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client and lender interactions
6. Proficiency in CRM systems, lender portals, and Microsoft Office
