Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as an Intellectual Property Associate, located in Bengaluru South. The role involves preparing, reviewing, and filing patent applications, managing intellectual property portfolios, and overseeing trademark activities. The Intellectual Property Associate will work closely with research teams to ensure comprehensive patent and trademark protection, assist with IP strategy development, and stay informed on changes to patent and IP laws. Additional responsibilities may include conducting IP audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to broader legal functions of the organization.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and expertise in Intellectual Property Law, including Patent Law
- Experience in Patent Preparation, filing, and management
- Dealing with Trademarks, Agreements and related legal processes
- Educational Background in Law with a specific focus on intellectual property and regulatory compliance
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field; advanced legal qualifications are a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to dynamic work environments
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or regenerative medicine industry is advantageous
