QA Engineer (Automation)

Position Overview: Inteliment Technologies, a leading software solutions company based in Baner, Pune, is seeking talented and motivated individuals to join our team as QA Engineers (Automation). As a QA Engineer (Automation), you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers with 0-2 years of experience to develop their skills in automation testing and contribute to the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Responsibilities: Test Planning: Collaborate with the QA team to understand project requirements and assist in developing comprehensive test plans and strategies for automation testing. Test Scripting and Execution: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks. Test Framework Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of test frameworks, libraries, and utilities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of automation testing. Defect Reporting and Tracking: Document and report defects using appropriate bug tracking tools. Provide detailed and accurate defect reports to assist in issue resolution. Test Result Analysis: Analyze test results and provide valuable insights to the development team for defect resolution and product improvement. Test Documentation: Create and maintain test artifacts such as test scripts, test reports, and test data to ensure traceability and documentation of testing activities. Continuous Integration and Delivery: Collaborate with the development and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing and deployment. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure effective communication and efficient project delivery. Test Environment Setup: Assist in setting up and configuring test environments and test data required for automation testing. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest automation testing tools, frameworks, and industry trends. Actively participate in training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities. Qualifications: Experience: 0-2 years of experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role. Freshers with relevant internships or certifications are encouraged to apply. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices. Hands-on experience with automation testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber. Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or C#. Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and continuous integration tools, such as Jenkins. Good knowledge of SQL and experience in working with databases. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot issues. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision and accuracy. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate test results and collaborate with team members.
