Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer Intern

The Intel Information Technology group is seeking student candidates to work in a challenging and dynamic environment. Our data centers are some of the most technologically advanced and environmentally friendly centers found anywhere. As a Student Intern in our internship program, you will gain valuable understanding of state-of-the-art operating systems, virtual environments, system management, network storage and encryption while learning how to build and maintain various client/server architectures. Responsibilities will include provisioning, installation/configuration, maintenance, and/or operations of the hardware and software infrastructure required to build, validate, and release a wide variety of hardware and software products and projects. Expected to Work closely with development and quality teams to derive infrastructure design requirements, build, test, and automate flows appropriate to the project, and/or implementation, data analytics and maintenance of those systems within the constraints imposed by Intel enterprise infrastructure (IT) and other governing bodies.

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.
