Job details:
- System Design Review
- Review BMS design drawings and control philosophy for HVAC, clean rooms, utilities, and critical environments.
- Ensure compliance with World Health Organization GMP, US Food and Drug Administration, and International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering guidelines.
- Verify sensor locations, control points, and system architecture.
- Installation & Pre-Commissioning
- Inspect installation of:
- Temperature & humidity sensors
- Differential pressure sensors
- VFDs and dampers
- BMS panels and controllers
- Verify I/O point checks and wiring integrity.
- Commissioning Activities
- Perform functional testing of HVAC systems such as:
- AHU (Air Handling Units)
- Chillers
- Clean room air systems
- Exhaust systems
- Validate alarms and control sequences for critical areas.
- Cleanroom & Environmental Monitoring
- Ensure BMS control of:
- Temperature
- Humidity
- Differential pressure
- Air changes per hour
- Validation Support (Very important in Pharma)
- Support DQ / IQ / OQ / PQ documentation:
- Design Qualification
- Installation Qualification
- Operational Qualification
- Performance Qualification
- Prepare commissioning protocols and reports.
- Documentation & Handover
- Prepare:
- Commissioning reports
- Test records
- As-built drawings
- SOP and operation manuals
- Provide training to facility and maintenance teams.
- Coordination
- Work with:
- HVAC contractors
- Automation vendors
- Validation teams
- QA/QC department.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of HVAC and cleanroom systems
- Experience in BMS platforms (Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider)
- Understanding of GMP validation and pharma regulations
- Knowledge of BACnet / Modbus communication
