Company Description:Busy Dermatologist office seeks a team player for a full-time clinical position. The medical/clinical assistant works as part of the health care team by assisting the practice provider in providing high quality patient care in a professional manner. The ideal candidate will be energetic and able to remain focused in a busy atmosphere while delivering a high level of customer service.
Job Description:- Assist provider with exams and procedures, administering medications, and performing tests.
- Assist patients with aftercare instructions
- Triage and process messages from patients, front office staff, and providers.
- Clean and restock exam rooms
- Cleaning and Sterilize instruments
- Collecting lab samples (blood, urine, ect)
- Updating patient medical histories
Qualifications:- Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow
- The ability to perform phlebotomy
Job Type:
- Full-time: Mon-Thurs: 7:45am-5:30/6:00pm, Fridays: 7:45am-1:00pm
Experience:
- 1 years work experience as a nursing assistant or medical assistant (preferred but required)
- Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations
