This is your chance to learn the crop insurance business from the ground up — working alongside agents, account managers, and the operations team to make sure every policy, file, and document is handled with precision.
About the role
As our Client Service Associate, you’ll be the operational backbone behind our agents — making sure documents are accurate, deadlines are tracked, files are organized, and customers feel taken care of. You’ll work closely with our agents and account managers, learning the ropes of crop insurance while keeping the engine running smoothly behind the scenes. This role reports to our Manager of Agency Operations.
What you’ll own
• Manage client files and record retention, including organizing, processing, assembling and mailing of physical and digital packets
• Handle office mail and route documents
• Send letters and keep letter templates up to date
• Validate policy documents for accuracy and completeness
• Track policy status and update agents on deadline reminders
• Open claims in AIP systems
• Assist with keying of policies
• Serve as first point of contact with underwriters, banks, and other third-party partners
• Maintain a basic knowledge of most policies and crops we write
What you bring to the team
Must-haves:
• 1–3 years of customer-facing experience in any industry
• Comfort with Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace
• Generally tech-savvy and excited to learn new systems, especially interested in AI
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication
• Comfortable working in a hybrid setup with both in-person and remote coworkers
• Willing to obtain a Property & Casualty Insurance License in California
Nice-to-haves:
• Exposure to crop insurance, specialty insurance, or agriculture.
• Experience handling sensitive customer data or regulated paperwork
• Experience utilizing AI systems to enhance your workflows
Where you’ll work
Visalia, CA. This is a hybrid role — in-office 3–5 days per week.
Compensation & benefits
$60,000-80,000 base salary + generous annual bonus potential
